**Update: This wedding was featured on Destination I Do! Check it out here!
When Jacklin reached out to me on Instagram the first thing I noticed was her profile @foodbythegram full of delicious looking food. So already, I was IN because I knew her wedding menu would be immaculate. Then she sang those beautiful words, “We’re having a destination wedding at UNICO 2087 in Mexico” and my heart swooned! Food, Mexico, beaches, pools, cenotas, all inclusive resort – I was sold.
So we jet set off to Riviera Maya (near Tulum, Mexico) then immediately rolled right into the welcome party + rehearsal dinner. Let me tell you, Jacklin + Steve’s family and friends were a hoot and I felt right at home!
There’s a few things to consider when having a destination wedding: travel, visas/paper work, packing, all that jazz. To learn more about how I travel for destination weddings head to my YouTube channel where I break down all things business and filmmaking! What makes destination weddings feasible is a good planner. UNICO 2087 has event staff on site and they were great to work with and organize travel through! Highly recommend. After the welcome party, we took the morning slow. We saw most everyone from the wedding at breakfast the next morning then met up that afternoon for the wedding day! I’ll let their film speak for itself:
