Cristina and Kevin contacted me on a warm Thursday evening, I was out playing with the dogs and got a text along the lines of ‘Our wedding videographers have Covid, are you free Saturday?’ Yes, like 2 days away Saturday!

I couldn’t imagine having to replace a whole team 2 days before my wedding day, but I’m so thankful Cristina called us! Due to the high-speed nature of the weekend, I didn’t get my usual time to get to know Cristina and Kevin before their wedding day, but I knew from our brief FaceTime call that she was a breath of fresh air. She was so calm and collected about the whole situation. About a week after their wedding, I found this article about their wedding day from the New York Times and got to learn so much more about their history and romance!

Both Cristina + Kevin met in NC, then Cristina headed to NYC to work on the 2016 Clinton Campaign. After Kevin visited her the next year the article reads: ”Ms. Lara, now an employee relations partner at Biogen, said she knew after their successful reunion weekend “this is going to be a relationship I think that’s going to change my life.” By January 2018 she was back in Raleigh. Mr. Bailey joined her there in June, as soon as he was able to.” Is anyone else getting Rory from Gilmore Girl vibes? Just me?
