A fall wedding at The Evermore in Apex, NC filled with modern details, coffee cart vibes, and a golf simulator. Captured by Gold + Sage, Raleigh NC wedding photographer.

Emily and Anthony’s story began back in high school — on Emily’s 17th birthday, to be exact. What started as teenage connection soon grew into a love that endured distance, change, and time.
Through college years spent hundreds of miles apart — Emily in Virginia and Anthony in Indiana — they built a relationship grounded in trust and commitment. After graduation, Raleigh became home base for Anthony while Emily finished her master’s degree. And when it came time for the proposal, Anthony chose the most meaningful place possible: the dock at Emily’s parents’ lake house, where her family and best friend could witness it all.
That moment set the tone for everything that came after — personal, intentional, and full of heart.

The Evermore in Apex, NC, was the perfect setting for Emily + Anthony’s modern fall wedding. The venue’s clean architecture and sprawling grounds paired beautifully with their color palette — a refined mix of dusty blue bridesmaid dresses, sunflowers, and wildflower-inspired blooms.
From the very beginning, the day felt intentional and calm. Every moment reflected their values: connection, joy, and family. The ceremony brought tears all around — from Anthony’s emotional reaction as Emily walked down the aisle to the parents smiling through happy tears in the front row.

What really made their wedding day stand out was the guest experience. Emily and Anthony thought about everything — the flow, the food, and the fun.
The coffee cart served as a cozy, interactive detail that gave guests a mid-reception pick-me-up. Later in the evening, they unveiled a surprise: a full golf simulator setup. Emily, a former college golfer, couldn’t resist stepping in for a swing — dress and all.
Between the coffee, the golf, and the laughter echoing from every corner, the night felt fresh, modern, and full of personality.

Heirloom touches tied everything together — Anthony’s wedding ring belonged to his late grandfather, and the fabric around Emily’s bouquet came from her grandparents. The blend of modern celebration and meaningful legacy made the day uniquely theirs.
The result? A wedding that felt equal parts joyful and elevated. The type of day that reminds you why celebrating with the people you love most is everything.
